Rental Policy

Requirements:

There is a 14-night minimum stay. Rental rates may change without notice. Rates do not include a Harbor Towers Properties, Inc. Administration charge. Rental rates/charges and fees are subject to a 7% State Sales Tax and 5% Local Tax. For all reservations, a departure cleaning and Damage Insurance fee will be added. The departure cleaning fee will vary depending on unit size.

A minimum payment of 25% of the total rental amount is required to confirm a reservation. Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival require a credit card advance rent payment upon booking. The total reservation amount is due 30 days or more prior to the arrival date. Cancellations received 60 days or more prior to arrival date will receive the deposit except for the nonrefundable fee of $100.

Occupancy

A one-bedroom unit can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons, including children and infants.
A two-bedroom unit can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons, including children and infants.

Office Hours

Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Age for Rental

The minimum rental age requirement for the responsible party is twenty-five (25) years of age.  The responsible party must be present at the time of check-in and present in the unit throughout the duration of the occupancy.  Must provide proper proof of age by way of a valid Driver’s License or valid Passport and a valid credit card in their name.

Payment of Nights Reserved

Regardless of actual arrival or departure dates, guests are responsible for payment of all night’s reserved. Payment can be made with a personal check, travelers’ checks, bank check, or credit card.

VISA, Discover, MasterCard, and Diners Club are accepted.

Damages

Guests are liable for any damages to the premises and to the furnishings, equipment, and household items therein, which occur during their occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. Damage Insurance is required with each reservation for a fee and provides up to $3,000 of coverage. Any damage exceeding this limit will be charged to the credit card on file.

Entry of Premises

An authorized employee or repair person may enter the premises during customary business hours for any purpose connected with the repair, improvement, care, and management of the premises.

Pets are not allowed on the property or in the rental units

Exceptions made for fully documented ADA Service Assistance Dogs.

Parking

Each unit is allowed parking for ONE VEHICLE ONLY. Parking passes will be issued through the office at check-in and must be displayed prominently at all times. There is some temporary visitor parking available; but additional vehicles, here for the duration of your stay, must be parked at a public lot. Towing is enforced.

All rental units are strictly nonsmoking.  There is no smoking on balconies/lanais of rental units.

  • What is supplied in the unit and what do I need to bring?

    Supplied: cookware, flatware, dishware, small kitchen appliances, grilling utensils, towels, bath towels, bed linens, beach towels, and an initial supply of toilet paper.

  • What are your pool hours and are they heated?

    Pool hours are 8 am to 10 pm. Warning: There is no lifeguard on duty! Pool rules are posted within the pool deck area. No food or glass containers are allowed on the pool deck per Florida Statute. A covered eating area is provided on the upper patio. Yes, both pools are heated to at least 84 degrees from October to May.

  • Do you have BBQ Grills?

    Yes, there are 5 propane grills on the property. Four grills are located on the grilling patio. Grills cannot be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Will I have access to wireless Internet?

    Yes, the entire first floor (lobby, social rooms, fitness center, grilling patio, and most of the pool area) is covered with various HT|WIFI networks. All of the rental units are also equipped with their own secure WIFI. Passwords for the wireless internet are provided in each unit that has it.

  • Do you have any restaurants on the property?

    No, but dining can be found nearby. The property is approximately 1 mile from the Siesta Key Village which has multiple restaurants from which to choose.

  • Are there washers & dryers?

    Yes, there are washers & dryers on every floor of the property. These machines may be operated by coins or by Smartphone App. There is no change machine on site. In addition, some of the units are equipped with their own washer & dryer machines.

  • Is there a grocery store nearby?

    Yes, there are two small markets located on Siesta Key approximately 1 mile away in each direction. Publix, a large southeastern chain grocery store, is just off the Key, approximately 2 miles away.

  • Is covered parking available?

    Yes. Some of the rental units come with covered parking others do not; check Amenities at the specific rental unit level of the website.

  • How many parking spots will I have?

    Parking is limited to one vehicle per unit. Additional vehicles must be parked at a public lot.

  • Can I have friends visit?

    Visitors are welcome. During high season their vehicles may not be allowed on the property and may need to be parked at a public lot.

  • Is there Beach Access?

    Beach Access is through Public Beach entrances only. The main Siesta Key Beach access point is just up the road; less than a one minute drive from Harbor Towers, under a mile walk. The Siesta Key Trolley is also an option for transportation to the beach.

  • Is there a place to load and unload on arrival and departure?

    There is a 15-minute loading/unloading zone in front of the building to accommodate your luggage and groceries. Carts are provided for your convenience inside the lobby, on the east side of the elevators, to transport items to your unit. Carts are not allowed in the units. Please return the cart immediately to the lobby cart area. Cars parked in the loading zone for extended periods are subject to ticketing and towing.
